Our Mission
Sentir is Latin and Romance for what it sounds like. The name was chosen deliberately. This kind of transformation has to be felt by the people going through it — not implemented at them.
Why Sentir Exists
Most consulting is delivered into large organizations where the results get diffused — credited to the platform, owned by the process, attributed to the team. The consultant moves on. The impact, if it happened, is impossible to trace.
Sentir is the inverse. You walk into a room with a business owner who built something with their hands and their relationships. You either helped them or you didn't. That accountability is what we're built for.
Every Sentir engagement documents the before and after — what the business was worth at engagement start, what savings were identified, what was realized, what was reinvested in the workforce, and what the business is worth now. The numbers are on the table. We own them.
"Not 'they feel better about AI.' Not 'they have a strategy document.' The before and after are documented, visible, and owned."
Measurable impact over sentiment. Every engagement closes with a documented record of what changed, by how much, and what it's worth. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every engagement.
The Product
Not the AI. Not the framework. Not the tools. The fact that we actually care about what happens to the 45-year-old office manager when the process gets automated. Business owners feel that in the first conversation. It's what builds a referral practice.
We've spent years in the enterprise world watching what happens when efficiency projects become headcount reduction projects. It poisons the business. It kills morale. It destroys the trust that took twenty years to build. And the owners who let it happen are usually the ones who didn't know there was another way.
There is another way. The savings are real, the efficiency is real, and the workforce that made it possible gets a piece of what they created. That's not idealism — it's what makes the work stick.
A proof point
In May 2026, the Catholic Church released its first major statement on technology since the Industrial Revolution — arguing that AI optimized for commercial interests over people is a structural problem, not a product update. The co-founder of Anthropic, whose AI tools Sentir uses in its own work, was at the Vatican for the presentation. He said it plainly: AI labs operate inside commercial incentives that “can sometimes conflict with doing the right thing.”
This isn’t a religious argument. It’s a convergence. From very different starting points, serious institutions are arriving at the same place. Sentir was already there.
The next generation of workers will be AI orchestrators — people who direct these systems rather than run manual processes. That’s the right outcome and the right direction. But the harder question isn’t retraining. It’s what gets lost before retraining happens. The person who knows why the third shift runs differently, why the process was designed the way it was, why that client relationship has the history it does — that’s institutional knowledge. It lives in people, not in systems. When AI moves fast and those people leave, that knowledge leaves with them. The automation runs on a hollow foundation. Productivity gaps and institutional blind spots don’t surface in year one. They show up when something unusual happens and nobody in the building knows why things were built the way they were.
Every Sentir engagement starts by capturing what’s already working — before optimizing anything.
The Commitment
Every Sentir engagement includes a written commitment to document and verify how first-year savings are reinvested into your workforce — training, role development, process capability. We track what happened. You decide how to use it.
This is not optional language. It is a condition of every engagement.
It protects your integrity. It gives you cover with your team. When your people see the savings going back into them — not out the door — the engagement stops being something happening to them and starts being something they're part of.
And it creates the story that sells the next client. A business owner who watched their team benefit from the work is the most credible reference we can have. The covenant makes that outcome structural — not aspirational.
"Sentir will document and verify how first-year savings are reinvested into workforce development, process training, or role expansion. The record is honest. The client decides how to use it."
This commitment appears in every Sentir engagement document. It is not a marketing statement. It is a contractual condition.
Equally Important
We don't produce generic AI strategy decks. We don't compare technology vendors or recommend software platforms. We don't deliver compliance frameworks or mandate-driven transformation programs. We don't position ourselves as a technology company — because we're not one.
The business owners we work with have been pitched all of that already. They know the difference between a consultant who understands their business and one who's selling a product. We're not selling a product.
Sentir is a consulting firm built on sincerity, measurable impact, and respect for the people who showed up every day and built something worth protecting.
That's who we are. It's in the name, and it's in every document we put in front of a client.
